One in 5-10 school-aged children has a vision problem, a hearing problem, or both. Impaired vision and/or hearing can seriously impede learning. If the child can’t see or hear well, they can’t learn well. Early identification and treatment can prevent, or at least alleviate, many vision and hearing problems.

Covenant Keepers will hold vision and hearing screenings for all 6th and 8th grade students on September 21st and 22nd.

If the student fails the vision or hearing screening, they will be re-screened in approximately two to three weeks. If they fail a second time the parents will be notified and will then need to have a more comprehensive exam performed by a physician, audiologist, or optometrist of their choice within 60 days.
